I found the ground, slowly standing, only to find a hammer in my skull, breaking down the walls. -> I love that imagery. You got me there.
The daggers in his eyes were sharp and poking into my skin -> Powerful imagery again. Love it.
Ha. The prayer thing was funny, Evie. You rock the cow stable!
Pst, just an aside note: When a chair hits the floor, the sound it makes is usually referred to as “plonk”. (Pete hitting the floor with a thud – that’s perfectly ok… Unless he becomes even thinner. Then it might sound like a “plonk” after all.)
The hate-worry ambiguity feeling Evie has for Pete. That’s beautiful, moomoo. :) I can relate to that so well. And I know somebody else who can as well.
I needed to rate this.
Wow. So not only do you manage funny you also manage serious and moving. Kinda scary if you ask me. Are you some kinda witch? Trying to hide beneath this whole cow business?
Well, I guess I’ll never know. But I know that this story must not only go onto my alerts but also my favs.
Big fat WOW.
