I was actually thinking that this sounded like How to lose a guy... anyway I love Brendon to death and I would never do something like that to him though. I am actually quite eager to read the next chapter though. I am a sucker for someone to do something mean like that, then hurt that person, then winds up getting that person to love them anyway. Much like the movie Never Been Kissed... keep up the great work.
