I'm new, so I have not read the first in this series, the Bass Files? But this looks so good I think I'll have to go back and read it.

Hi, Liz. Thanks for reading this story. I'm trying to write it in a way that doesn't make having read the Files necessary. Which means I will probably refer to some of the stuff that happened in the Files and explain it, if necessary.
I'd be pretty studid... even stupider to tell you not to read the Files because everybody loves getting new readers & reviewers. But don't stress yourself. There's also a parallel universe story to the Files. Aaaalright, enough self-advertisement.
