This is an interesting chapter, if one that has the usual independent!Harry clichés. However, I found the inclusion of a 'Potter Grimiore' with James' letter interesting. A pureblood family has to have its traditions and hand-me-down spells; why has Harry never had the chance to learn his family's? Maybe JKR will rectify this problem when Harry visits Godric's Hollow in TDH.
