I admit when I started reading this I thought it was going to be a Mary-Sue, but you walked the line well between OC and 'Sue. :) This was a nice fic and quite sweet (and it helps that Edmund's my favourite character :P). The only problem with it, I think, was some missing punctuation, such as 's. Apart from that, well done!
