That was a great series of battles you had there. My favorite aspect, though, has got to be your use of the pokedex. You've got a definite talent for creating little facts about different kinds of pokemon. Also, you're not afraid to take your story slow. Lots of stories like this go from the kids getting their starters in one chapter to a sudden evolution in the next. Anyway, keep on writing and I'll keep on reading.

Thanks for noticing Chrono, I've always felt that pokedexes get cheated in most stories. There is so much that they could do.
And yes, I know those rapid pace stories only too well. If the characterization is good it can be fun, however more often then not it just makes you want to shake your head. Also, I'm one of those people who's not so keen on evolution winning battles -- I don't even like new moves winning battles, hence Corazon's defeat in Pride and Loyalty.
You're kind of lucky to have stumbled on to my story now, since summer vacation is comming up and I actually will have time to concentrate on writing again. But I warn you, my updates are spotty, so please don't hold your breath until the next one comes out.
