Talk about a plot twist. What's next? And why would all the gods need to die?

This is one of those plot twists that leads to another plot twist and another plot twist and so on. The prophecy says all the gods must fall- but does it mean they ahve to die? or is everyone interpreting it the wrong way? Watch out for many things like that in my stories!
