Before I gush my emotional ass off about how this chapter made me feel, I just want you to know how sick you are and how much I admire your twisted plan to hold the next chapter hostage. With that said: WOW. Just wow. Would this be considered a transitional chapter? I think it is. I love how Sue guides Shay, gently at times. And other times, she just spells it out for her. When Shay realized that her feelings for Petard were purely physical, my heart leaped out of my chest and sang hallelujah! Pete may be a sexy mammajamma, but Patrick is just...Patrick-licious. And I'm getting a sense that Patrick might be forgiving Shay. He sees what a good mother and wife she is and perhaps he's trying to remember what he loves about her too. I love how deep you go and how you overlap all these emotions, which is how life is. Just overlapping. I'm insanely jealous and I strive to be a better writer because of this story.
