Wow.
Again, I am completely blown away by you writing. Seriously, you have a tallent that is rarely ever reached by most. This chapter had it all- it was funny at the begining and completely hear-wrenching at the end. Your work with emotions and conveying how your characters feel is soooooo real. I completely believe that they are true people and not just characters. I could just imagine the end- where everything is just chaos at the hospital; Patrick wanting to get in but unable and not really understanding why on earth they are treating him this way; Kate's final reaction to Joe and the tearful 'thank you' whine eventually admitting to Patrick that it was his; Pete and Sara's attempt to protect Kate, and getting upset because they are hurting another friend while doing so. It was amazing.
I really have a lot of funnier things to say about the begining of the chapter but they all feel very inappropriate at this moment where I am feeling so emotionally drained. But you are seriosuly fantastic! Take my points! I give them to you!!!
