This is an episodic based story set in the fictional company of Gemini Software Inc. They produce one product - The Valhalla Office Management Suite - and have a staff of around 20 people.
Disclaimer : This is a purely fictional story. While any resemblance the characters might have with any real people is not entirely co-incidental, that is as far as it goes. The situations, characterisations and plots that occur are all based purely on my imagination (or fictionalization of real incidents) and should not in anyway be taken to represent my view on the world at large or anyone who thinks they are part of the story.
Notes : A lot of the stories are based on bits of my life, either the incidents or just random facts. I am also a fan of quoting (aka "stealing") from other sources, though mostly in context (characters quoting and so forth).
The two series takes place between March 2002 and April 2003.
The staff :-
Steven Tomlinson - Director w/r for development
Michael Garner - Director w/r for marketing
Bradley Pursglove - Director w/r for personnel

Amy Garner - Office Manager

The Product :-
Valhalla is an office suite that contains a number of components :-
Project Management - allows the user to administer projects of almost any specification. Can integrate with Personnel for staff assignments. Can integrate with Diary Man for any double bookings etc
Personnel - allows the user to manage the staff details and vacation/sick days.
Diary Management - allows the user to detail the staff holidays and other related events. Can integrate with Personnel to keep a record of all of the holidays/sick days. Can integrate with Project Man to keep track of who is available
File Management - allows the user general administration of files. Can integrate with Personnel for better tracking of changes etc. Can integrate with Project Man for files related to projects. Can also integrate with Cor Man for files related to correspondence
Accounts - allows the user to keep track of the accounts of the company. Can integrate with Personnel for salary and bonus
Correspondence Management - allows the user to administer and review all the correspondence for the company. Can integrate with Personnel for tracking the staff who sent it. Can integrate with Project Man for project related correspondence
Administration - allows the user to administrate all of the modules installed. Also allows addition and removal of modules. Does not directly set the options for each module - thats done in the modules - but administers the integration
Admin is a mandatory module. The company must also have at least one other (otherwise what is the point?). Integration is not mandatory even if the user has more than two modules.
There is also a project to move all of the Valhalla modules on to a web-based system, although that is currently in its infancy at the start of the series.
