- The formatting for this story is messed up, starting from about halfway through. The lines are broken up and something's wrong with the quote marks. If you can, could you please fix this? It makes the fic slightly difficult to read.
Author's responseUgh, never saw this until today -- sorry!
The quote marks are actually all right -- at the time I wrote the fic, I had my computer set to (my native) German standard, and they're in perfect accordance with German rules, sorry. :)
As for the formatting, it seems as if the uploader can't handle documents already in html; I've now switched to uploading .docs with manually-inserted tags. Maybe I ought to reupload the whole thing ... one day, if/when I have time to reformat. :)
(#) iluvnaughtystuf 2005-06-21I really liked the concept you used fort this story. It was extremely interesting. What I really like was how you didn't just stop with Jason and Tommy, but continued on into the future. The only thing I would change is the semi-mangled formating. I would definiately love to see a series made out of this, with a story for each era and friendship.
(#) JesusKetchum31 2005-07-17This is a very interesting story; I found it very touching and I thought it shed a lot of light on what could be. I like the premise of the bond shared between them; it's a concept I like to play with on a much stranger scale. I do have one problem with the story though--the formatting is all screwed up at the end, and that made it hard to read. It was pretty schweet though. Good job!
Author's responseThank you.
I fixed the formatting; it's not perfect by a long shot, but I really don't know what else to do to make the lines fill the screen like they do in my own files. sigh I tried everything I could think of ... but I think it's at least more readable now.
Anyway, glad you enjoyed it; although it's pretty much my earliest fic, it's the one I had the most fun writing/researching. That, and deciding which eras of history to choose; I would've loved to include the French Revolution, Jacobite uprisings, the Civil War and/or WW I ... I wasn't in the habit of writing on a more epic scale back then. :)
- Ooohh... you wrote another one! Goody - can I say I like it a lot, and you're rapidly becoming one of my favourite writers?
Author's responseSure, and thanks! Actually, I've written more Jason/Tommy (and other) fics; try my Fanfiction.net account, or Rangerfiction.net! For links to my adult stories, please contact me by email?
