After 5 minutes of walking in silence we finally got to our spot which was a hill in the park that over looked the entire park and the lake. I just stood there not knowing what to do or say. Gerard put his book bag down and pulled out a blanket while laying it out on the ground. He then looked at me and motioned me to sit while he pulled out the rest of the items of the book bag. He pulled out two cokes, a container of what looked like spaghetti, some forks, napkins, and an IPod with a speaker connected to it. After he finished getting out everything he sat down next to me, close but not to close. I just looked at him waiting for him to speak but when it was clear that he wasn’t going to I spoke up.
“Wow Gerard you didn’t have to do all of this, it’s really nice though.” I said looking at him to reply.
“I figured if we were going to hangout then it was going to be the right way.” He said as he looked right into my eyes. All I could do was blush. He then handed me a fork and a coke while taking the lid off of the container which then the smell of his “famous” spaghetti hit me
making my mouth water.
“God Gerard this smells so good I haven’t had your spaghetti in forever.” I grinned as I took a bite of it.
“I figured you would like it.” He grinned back.
“So kali how is life? I mean besides the part about your dad.” He said the last part looking sad.
“It’s good. I’ve been working for a doctor’s office as a nurse. I work with little kids I love it.” I replied smiling as I took another bite.
“Yeah mikey said you were I’m happy for you. I know how you have always wanted to work with kids. You’ve always been good with them.” I just smiled. After we finished eating, Gerard stood up collecting everything and putting them away. Again I just stood there not knowing what to do or say. He then motioned me to follow him back to the car. Once we were in he spoke.
“So I was thinking we could go see a movie, I mean if you want to that is.” He said while glancing over at me.
“Yeah that would be great! What do you want to see?” I asked while staring out of the window.
“Whatever I don’t really care. I just like spending time with you.” I couldn’t help but blush when he said that. We ended up at the theaters finally deciding on watching a movie called “Dead Silence”. Let me just tell you that that movie freaked me out. In the middle of the movie it got so scary that I ended up pressing my face into Gerard’s shoulder and grabbing his hand. Stupid huh? I knew that I shouldn’t have because it might send the wrong signals but at that moment I didn’t care. As I kept my hand in his and my head on his shoulder I couldn’t help but notice that it felt good to be next to him. Oh my god why am I thinking this? I am happily dating Daniel who I love with all my heart the man I am to marry. Gerard is the past; he was someone that use to have all of my heart. I don’t know why I’m even thinking about Gerard like that. He’s the past and Daniel is the future. I just needed to keep reminding myself that while I was here in Jersey. As I kept thinking the movie ended and I didn’t even notice till Gerard said something.
“Kali the movies over we can go now.” He smirked as he looked at me. God I love it when he smirks. Wait did I just think that damn. Not thinking about Gerard in that way was gonna be harder than I thought. We got up to leave heading to the car. Just as we got in the car it started to rain. We drove in silence as we headed to my house. As we pulled into my driveway it was still raining which made me frown. I turned to Gerard to say bye when I saw that he was staring at me.
“What?” I asked looking at him.
“Nothing I had a good time hanging out with you today. I hope we can do it some more before you leave.” He said smiling. I smiled back.
“Me too. Thanks for the day it made me feel better.” I replied leaning in to give him a hug goodbye. As he hugged back I got a shiver down my back. I quickly pulled away blushing.
“Well Gerard again thanks. I guess I’ll talk to you later.” I said as I put my hand on the door to open it. As I started to get out Gerard grabbed my hand pulling me back into the car. As I looked at him he pulled me closer. He then did something I didn’t expect.

ok well i must say im proud of this chapter even though it is short i like it. Anyway guys it takes like a minute or two to comment so please do it helps me know if ya'll like what im writing :) ill try to update tommorrow but im not making any promises so if i get a few comments then i will so ya'll can know what Gerard did anyways love ya'll
