  Great section, and Hary as the Rattler is working like a champ. Going to be curious to see what ends up happening, if they're after Harry for the Red Skull or something else, and if the alliance with Doom will pay off for them.

  I've clearly failed as a writer if I haven't made it clear that the Death Eaters are not working for the Red Skull at all. This is clearly a case of mistaken identity. The Serpents see people (Death Eaters) in Skull masks and automatically think, Red Skull. The Viper, on the other hand, IS working for the Red Skull and isn't after the Rattler (Harry) specifically. He's just the junior member of the organization she's trying to take over.

  Naah, you haven't failed as a writer. I see two groups working at cross-purposes getting in each other's way. Now if they DO ever start working together things will get messy.
  
  But can't you just see a scene like, "I am Lord Voldemort! Bow before me!"
  
  "I am Victor von Doom -- I bow to no one!" FRRZAAAAP!

  Oh, I forgot about the Poison Ivy fic, probably because I was thinking Marvel and not DC...that was a good fic, I wish the author hadn't abandoned it.
  
  Another excellent chapter. You know, I think what I really like about this fic is that no one really knows what the heck is going on. It's all amazing coincidence that'll serve a higher purpose. I think what I liked best about this chapter is the idea of Crabbe and Goyle Srs. as transfigured fish and the idea of McNair and the Carrows trying to reverse the transfiguration on all the fish in the Hudson. It made me laugh, I love it when villians are idiots, like death eaters are so often.

  I did seem logical, that when McNair and the Carrows tried to use magic to locate Crabbe and Goyle that they would detect the fish that had eten their remains. And the idea of Dumbly-door murdering people and feeding them to fish would never occure to them. Perhaps I should have included in this chapter the attempts to reverse transfigure fish
