Later, Evelyn was feeling alot better.
Her and Brendon had chatted a fair bit while the other guys had their own conversations.
She learned that Brendon was single, that he found it hard to pursue relationships
when he wasn't going to be around to enjoy them due to touring.
Plus potential girlfriends found his female fanbase a little scary.
Apparently the rest of the guys didn't agree with Brendon, and they had girlfriends back home.
Evelyn easily saw both sides of the situation, and said so, following it with a question.
"Don't you ever get... lonely?"
Brendon glanced back at the guys.
"Yeah, of course. In this industry you end up so secluded, you can't just decide to go out
somewhere without taking a bodyguard or three.
You go home to visit family and the fans find out and thousands of underage girls are lining the street, making it impossible to get there."
He let out a deep sigh. "And when I do find someone I'd like to be with, they can't get past the rockstar to find the guy waiting underneath."
"Wow.." Evelyn said softly. She gazed down at her hands. "If it helps, I see past the rockstar.."
Brendon eyed her suspiciously for a moment, then broke out in a dazzling smile.
"That's cool."
Evelyn shifted uncomfortably, and the pair fell silent.
"Hey guys, want to hit the clubs? Reckon we'd be spotted?" Jon called to Brendon and Evelyn.
"Yeah, Evelyn. You'd know the good spots around here. Anywhere we can get in without being swarmed?" Brendon asked.
Evelyn thought for a minute, then a thought came to her.
"I think I know the perfect place..." she replied, and delved into her idea.
