  I first wish to say you are an exelent and imaginative writer.
  
  2nd I woulsd like to ask if you have taken over the story A different way of looking at thing or if this is just a spin off??

  This is honestly the first longer thing I have ever writtenin english. It's fun.
  
  And this is and stays a spin-off. It started origially as 'suggestion' chapter, since I didn't and don't want his story to stop.I had a chat with the author of the original story. He said that he wanted to do something like the first scene with Luna. I wrote the first chapter and told him to take whatever he wanted from it. I didn't stop there and wrote the first 15 chapters in maybe three days. It became a spin-off when I decided to post it and got his ok to do so.
  
  All for the common cause of promoting D/s stories.
  
  Since we have different preferencces and experiences I am sure he will take his story in a different direction. And he does.
  
  As far as I know he is a little occupied with his RL ...in a rather exciting way. But he intends to continue his story soon.
  
  I hope the concept of a spin-off is not too confusing, but I think the stories are different enough already that it will not be a big problem and people can enjoy both stories.

  A very good question. But I guess it is more a question of 'if' rather than 'when'.
  
  For motivation I would be happy to hear ideas what should happen during Christmas at the Grangers.

  Not bad, but your driving me crazy. Is Harry going have something with either Luna or Padma, or is he restricted to Hermione while she has time with all three. Please tell me that Luna and Padma get a least somewhat involved with Harry or I can't keep reading.

  Padma is definitly getting to 'know' Harry. With Luna, I would not be so sure.
  
  I will have to see about all of this once I am in 'writing mode' of course...

  I just read it and found myself oddly fascinated and engrossed by it. A very interesting take on a story that has been done badly a number of times and correctly only a few.
  
  Imagine my dissappointment when after absorbing 20 chapters I check the last update date and find it mroe than a year ago. From the reviews I see that you have checked in since then so I hope you get mine as well.
  
  I hope you decide to update soon as from now on I will be checking in on the story often in that hope. I noticed you were asking for some ideas in an earlier post for the 4 part of the ritual. At this moment I have none for the ritual itself but training for it could include a deprivation of most magic during a set time period (e.g. no casting/usage of magical aids/potions/parchment/quills/etc. while still adhering to a normal school day, this both being a challenge and a chance to realize what must be sacrificed).
  
  As for future involvemnts, I understand that Padma will get somewhat involved, if for a limited time, as Harry tries to get her to realize her preferences, but personally I am always partial to Luna. Iirc she is bi in the story, so an attraction to males is inherent in that. I could imagine Harry making use of Luna's help in the next part of the ritual (or at least the training, as her mind could create the most interesting and unexpected scenario's) much as Padma is helping in this phase. You could then use this to develope something between the two, obviously nothing long-term or even short term, just something (if that makes sense).
  
  To finish, I'd just list to say: "please update" and that I hope you haven't moved from this story yet.

  this is one of the best pieces of bdsm fanfiction I've read. Although I enjoy reading the smut, the emotional component, and their discussions so we better understand the underlying motivations is integral, something that often seems lacking in similar pieces.

  Have you too lost your muse, it seems as if most of these powerful emotion driven stories burns out the author before they can finish writing. To be honest it gets frusrating that the last three of these fanfictions I've read all died out three or more years ago so i have little hope in them ever being finished at least by the original writers
