Kingdom Hearts Drabble:ACT IV
We Belong
Thunder crashes overhead. Two figures, both in black meet in a darkening alley in Radiant Garden. No one else is outside. No one sees them. No one hears the exchange. The brunette leans forward to accept a kiss from the other figure. As the taller turns, the blonde lays a hand on his shoulder, motioning him to stop. He turns. A box before him stops his heart a moment. A lightning bolt illuminates them both a moment and then all is dark again. Thunder roars and the wind howls and bellows as an animal in pain. With the next lightning bolt, the forms of the two entwined in a deep kiss are illuminated in the chilling glow. Upon the finger of the taller, there is a ring of shining stones, diamonds. The wind and thunder drown their voices. The lips of the brunette, his storm gray eyes moist with what could be tears or rain, mouths one simple word;
“Yes.”
