When Ashley woke up in the morning, she saw that the clock read 11:30. She sat up and looked over at Taylor’s bed and saw that it was empty. Figuring he was with his brothers, she got out of bed and walked over to the dresser. As she was reaching for her brush, she noticed a folded piece of paper with her name on it. She opened it and read the contents:
Ash-
The guys and I had some things to do before
the award show tonight. You looked so peaceful
that I thought I’d just let you sleep. If I don’t see
you before tonight, make sure you’re ready to
go by 6. Ok, see you later on. Have fun shopping.
-Tay
She smiled as she read the note, then she got ready for the day. She then grabbed her purse and room key, and went to do some shopping. She hailed a cab and had it take her to one of the many outlet malls. She paid the driver, and looked around her, wondering where to start. She just started walking down the sidewalk, looking in the windows of different stores to see if she could find anything she liked. As she neared the end of the sidewalk, she halted in front of the last store, and was mesmerized by the dress she saw in the window.
“Yes,” she thought to her self. “This is perfect.”
