Its been a week sine I’ve seen Kai. I hope he’s alright. I find myself thinking of him day and night. Even when I’m not awake he’s in my dreams. In a mere week he’s managed to turn my life upside down. I wouldn’t have it any other way. On my way to school I can’t help but think of the last time I saw him.

The way he held me to him as if I’d slip away into nothingness if he let go. In that moment I truly felt whole again. I had finally got back that piece of my soul that monster took so long ago. I am complete. That one simple embrace we shared gave me so much. He didn’t have to say much just his touch soothed years of painful memories.

Its really quite funny I’ve know the boys what little more then a week and im hopelessly in love with him. So I’ve decided no matter what I want to be by his side...I will be by his side. To give him all of me to do as he pleases. I belong to him and no one else.

“Kai”. I whispered with a smile on my face.

“You say something Chanelle”. Travis asked with a bit of concern on her face. I blushed and shook my head vigorously.

We pulled into the parking lot just as the bell rang. As we got out of the car and headed for the school Felix leaned down and whispered into my ear causing me to blush.

“Kai huh, girl you got it bad. He got you all hot and bothered going to school”.

“Th...that’s not true”. I sputtered out. ‘Oh god yes it is’.

Felix put his index finger and licked the tip then lightly touched my shoulder then pulled back as if my skin was hot.

“Tssssss. You lying”. Then he ran away giggling and skipping not caring about the stares he was getting. I looked to see my brothers staring at me with a questioning look.

“Don’t even ask”. I commanded. They then looked away and headed for class.

‘Today’s gonna be a long day’. I thought then let out a sigh as I stepped into class with the whole class watching me like a wild anima at the zoo.

‘Uh...I hope nothings on my face’. I kept my face down the rest of the class.



It was now lunch and I was disappointed that Kai did not come in today. As I walked towards the entrance to the forest and sat down under a tree pulling out my book and a apple I took from home.

I was just getting to the good part when there was a shadow cast over me. Looking up with a excited look on my face hoping to see Kai. I was once again disappointed when it turned out to be a girl and there were a few more behind her.

She was a very beautiful girl I think her name is Kayla. This same girl who I had in my 3rd period class was glaring at me all through the class. I couldn’t possibly have a problem with the girl. I didn’t know her. I wondered what it was that I could have done to get on this girls bad side and what I could do to fix it.

“Can I help you”? I asked as politely as I could. It was always good to make a good first impression.

“No but you can help youself by staying away from my man Kai you slut”!

‘Oh hell no BITCH we definitely have a problem’.

“Execuse me”. I say standing up.

“You heard me you cheap whore he’s mine and the next time I find out you were even near him your gonna regret the day you ever laid eyes on him”. She hissed at me. Her friends were behind her whispering insults at me.

I stepped back and she smirked at me as if she had won. I then couldn’t help myself I laughed.

“Am I supposed to be scared of you. Look bitch he obviously don’t want your stank ass. So just drop it because if you don’t your gonna regret the day you confronted me bitch and that’s not an idle threat that’s a promise and have no doubt ica n and will kick your ass if you come near my man”. My voice has taken a tone it never had before it was strange to my own ears, but it had worked because I saw the fear in Kayla’s eyes.

“Oh yeah well...” she sputtered. She was going to say something when a teacher came onto the scene.

“Alright girls break it up”. A teacher said . The girls quickly followed him while I stayed behind to catch my thoughts.

‘Where did that come from’? I questioned myself half expecting a answer.

Not paying attention to what I was doing I wondered into the forest I suddenly stopped sensing I wasn’t alone. I turned around expecting once again to see my beloved Kai to come up with nothing. I sighed and turned around to hit a wall. I stumbled backwards about to fall.

‘What in the world is a wall doing in the forest... wait a minute’. I thought with my eyes closed waiting for the fall but it never came I opened my eyes and looked into ice blue eyes of a man. A man a tall bear chested tan man with dark long brown hair stopping at his hip with his jeans unbuttoned and a muscular arm wrapped around my waist. Smirking down at me.

“You alright honey”. He said in a silky smooth voice. It was then he pulled me against his extremely well built chest and looked down at me expecting a answer. I opened my mouth to reply but the sound of a deep angry growl stopped me.

We both turned our heads to look at a black wolf with familiar green eyes. He let out another feral growl.

“Mine, my mate, hands off”. There’s no way that wolf talked.

“Alright, its not as if I’m hurting the poor girl. She’s probably more scared of you then me”. He said letting go of me.
‘Now this guy is talking to the wolf’.

“I’m not going to hurt the girl... unless she’s into that”. He said looking at me with a smirk on his face that made me blush.

The wolf let out another growl this one deeper then the last.

“Calm down Kai”. The man said with slight amusement in his tone.

I looked at the wolf .

“Ka...Ka... Kai” I whispered with a hint of fear in my voice. The wolf looked at me with hurt in his eyes. Then his gaze turned to the man with anger evident in his beautiful green eyes.

The man just said “oops I guess she didn’t know huh”. He said with a slight smirk on his face. That must have did it because the next thing I know there on the ground with the wolf tearing into the mans flesh. I couldn’t take it and I passed out.
