1 reviewWhen Brendon leaves, Ryan is heart broken. but a devilish grin cant help but appear across his sad face as he considers the possibilities....
0Unrated
Ryan sighed as he opened the door to his dark apartment. everything there was so quiet since Brendon left. flipping on the light, he tossed his coat to the floor. no point in keeping a tidy house now that he was the only one who would ever see it. Its not like the pizza guy cared.
Ryan slowly walked to his bedroom, trying to keep his eyes of of anything that would serve as a reminder. he sat on the edge of his bed, his face in his hands. when he finally looked up, his eyes were over flowing with tears he couldn't control. Ryan's eyes wandered over to a lone picture on his night table, one of him and Brendon. a wave of hysteria hit, and Ryan couldn't help but bawl as he thought about that day...
DING DONG!!!!! Ryan's doorbell went off, breaking the silence that was settling in. Ryan looked up from the book in his hands, only to see Brendon barging in the door. "HELLLOOOOO!!!!!" he sang, looking happy as ever. Ryan was confused as he took in the basket Brendon was carrying, not knowing what was going on. "Umm, hi?" was Ryan's feeble reply. "What are you doing?"
Brendon laughed as he grabbed Ryan's arm, pulling him off the couch and out the door. "I'm taking you on our first date, you silly head!" Ryan couldn't help but blush as Brendon pecked him on the cheek as they skipped down the hall. "Are you sure?" asked Ryan in a quiet voice. "I mean, what if Spencer or John find out... it could break up the band..." the last thing anyone needed now was for Panic at the Disco to break up, what with them going on tour in a week. almost all the shows were already sold out. "Don't be silly!" Brendon said, looking Ryan in the eyes. "if they find out, they'll just be mad they didn't catch you first." Ryan blushed again as the got into the elevator.
The two of them were at the beach, skipping along in the sand. Brendon was acting like quite the 6 year old. But really, that was why Ryan loved him. he was always so fun to be with, you could always count on him for a laugh. Brendon caught hold of Ryan hand, and pulled him down into the sand. Brendon crawled on top of him, pinning Ryan's hands above his head. it was a quiet day at the beach, no one would see them... with a smile, Brendon leaned down and started to kiss Ryan. it started playfully, but got fiercer as the minutes wore on. by the end of the night, they were both skinny dipping in the ocean.
a shrill ringing sound brought Ryan back the present, though his mind was still lingering on those few precious months... he stumbled over to his cell phone, only to see from the caller id that it was Brendon. a frown crossing his face, he chucked the phone across the room with such a force that it left a dent in the wall. his breathing turned ragged as he thought over his options. Killing Brendon, now that would be something. But how...
As his mind tossed around ideas, Ryan went over to his night table. he picked up the picture of the two of them at the beach, and slowly crushed the glass with his fingers. when the glass was covering the floor, he pulled out the picture. walking over to the fire he had set earlier that day in the living room fire place, he started to tear at the picture. First, it was just the little bits on the corners, but as he continued, all that was left was Ryan and Brendon. thats all their ever was. nothing else mattered.
a devilish grin crossed his face as he slowly tore a line between the two of them. momentarily distracted by the beauty of Brendon's face, Ryan brought his hand up to touch the picture. without thinking, he dropped the part of the picture he was in into the fire.
Maybe... he thought. Maybe, if i was the one who left...
Ryan grinned again as he dropped Brendon's picture into the fire on his was back to his room. without hesitation, he opened his night table and pulled out a gun. it was small, but deadly. he stared at it as he walked back out to the living room, twisting it in his hands. I should leave something for him... he though. with a sigh, his eyes swept the room. on the table was a newly developed picture. it was one of Ryan, holding his hands in a heart shape over his chest. pulling out a red sharpie, he quickly scrawled over it, "Brendon, it was always yours. you threw it out. just thought i would help take out the trash." He sighed, and slipped the picture into his back pocket, knowing forensics would locate Brendon and give it to him.
Ryan walked slowly out onto his deck, looking out into the cool night. He spotted a familiar car. Shit, Ryan thought as Brendon's car pulled up to the front door of the apartment building. Its now or never, he thought as he climbed up and sat on the very edge of the railing. With a second thought, he pulled out the picture from his pocket, and slowly let it drift to the ground. It landed in front of where Brendon was walking. Brendon leaned down, and picked up the picture. after reading it, a frantic look crossed his face. He looked up, just in time to hear a gunshot. Brendon gasped as Ryans bloody body hit the pavement in front of him.
