Once upon a time in a land just outside of Las Vegas, Nevada there lived a happy family. The mom, dad, daughter, and family dog passed the days as normal people would, living in their own bliss.

Yes happiness showed across their face
And everyday they felt loved
But if only they knew what would take place
Yes the push was about to shove

The sun rose on that chilly Saturday
And the rain poured down
The daughter had a birthday cake
And the mother went to town

She was about to buy the daughter a wonderful gift
One that would surely make her smile
But they all got a little miffed
When the mom did not return after a while

The dad reached the screaming phone
And the daughter could tell from his sinking tone
That the mother wasn't coming home

The days went by
And the dad met someone new
Someone the daughter did not like
That came with more daughters too

No they did not like each other
But the daughter put on a brave face
She could not call her her mother
Because it was not the same

They were wed a month later
And the new "family" moved away
They drove away from the town
And into the city they came

Now this daughter must start a new
She has two new step-sisters and a new mom too
Now what will she do?
