Hey everyone! This is my first shot at a song fic. It came to me in Science Class, I don't know we were taking notes and atoms turned into this...On a lighter note, I passed that freaking test with flying colors! I know, wierd. I'm just going to shut up and type now...Enjoy! Please review, it makes my day a lot sunnier!
Oh yeah, as usual, this is an Aurikku.

"Why did you leave me? We were supposed to be married after the pilgrimage!"

It was two weeks after the day she turned 18
All dressed in white
Going to the church that night
She had his box of letters in the passenger seat
Sixpence in a shoe
Something borrowed, something blue

Rikku stood outside the church in a white dress with roses; red roses. They were "his" favorite color...

And when the church doors
Opened up wide she put her veil down
Trying to hide the tears
Oh she just couldn't believe it

She walked up to the casket and put the roses in. People from all over Spira came to attend the Legendary Guardian's funeral. They each brought mementos or something to honor the red clad warrior to put into the casket. Even though Yuna had sent him, it still felt right to have a ceremony to remember and celebrate "his" life.

She heard the trumpets
From the Military Band
And the flowers fell out of her hand
Baby why'd you leave me
Why'd you have to go
I was counting on forever
Now I'll never know
I can't even breathe

Rikku saw a seat near the front and sat down. The former guardians and their summoner sat together, weeping quietly. Yuna was crying the most, but Rikku could tell it was for the other that had left the group. Rikku looked at the casket and heard someone call her name.

"Rikku..."

She knew that voice, but it couldn't be...

It's like I'm looking from a distance
Standing in the background
Everybody's saying "He's not coming home now..."
This can't be happening to me
This is just a dream...
She heard it again.

"Rikku..."

"Auron!"

She turned around only to find everyone looking at her. Rikku ran out of the church and into the courtyard. She finally stopped when she came upon a willow tree.
