“So, why do I have to set the table again?” said a small boy with wintry blue hair. He was sitting on a chair near a table in a very orderly set up Kitchen. The walls were colored a majestic light purple and everything was very clean and tidy.
“Because, I make dinner every night. Do you always have to ask questions Winter?” replied a small girl who had flaming hot red hair. She was near the counter, chopping a carrot picked from her Garden earlier that day.
“So what if you make dinner every night, why cant you just set the table as well?” Winter said as he got even more comfortable in his seat. He put on a small grin and closed his eyes as his head faced the ceiling.
“You are acting completely ridiculous right now, you know that? Why cant you just do a simple little task for me? Is that seriously so hard to ask of you?” the girl said as she set down the knife and walked towards Winter.
“I don’t see why you cant just do it..” Winter said as he crossed his arms followed by a sigh.
“Are you kidding me? I do everything in this house, and most of it is for you!” she said while sitting down next to him. “ Please Winter, would you just cooperate and make this easy for both of us?”
“You know what, I really don’t want to listen to you right now.. I’m going outside! Don’t expect me back until Morning!” yelled Winter as he stomped out of the room towards the front
door, completely disgusted with the girls attitude.
“Well, I guess you wont be getting any of my food tonight, you big jerk..” said the small girl to herself.
“I heard that Kindle!!” he yelled as he slammed the door. Loud sounds came through the small window in the Kitchen, which were apparently Winter’s footsteps as he marched his grumpy self towards his Tree House by the River.
“I don’t deserve to be treated like that.. But I cant help but like him so much.. Jeez, I am a wreck,” said Kindle as she dished herself some soup, and sat alone at the kitchen table under the dim light.

“She’s such a nag! Why do I still live with her. Well.. I really like her and all.. But still! Why does she bother me with all this ‘set the table’ crap? It just doesn’t make any sense..” Winter stopped mid-sentence due to the sight of a small river.
“The River of Elo. Wow! I haven’t seen it like this in forever.. It’s so, beautiful.” Winter said as he kneeled down to put his hand in the water. Just as his hand was about to touch, he noticed something in the corner of his eye. It was a bottle of some sort, slowly floating down the River. He figured it was probably just Trash from the Humans.. Before they wrecked everything. He ignored it and continued to dip his hand into the water. Again just as his hand got closer to the water, he noticed the bottle again, but this time it was different. There was a note inside.
“Hey! A note.. I wonder what it says..” said Winter as he took off his shirt, and threw it aside. Daringly, he dove into the River head first. His intentions were to reach the Bottle, grab it, and climb back onto the Trail. Winter started to swim down the
River, towards the Bottle.. Getting closer, things were going pretty
good. But as he kept going, he noticed the River was getting colder and colder. Odd, but it didn’t stop him from getting to the Bottle. As he kept swimming, the water still began getting colder and eventually started to freeze over! Now Winter was scared. Something was happening because he jumped into the water. He didn’t exactly want to find out why it was freezing the way it was. Winter swam faster, trying to get away from the Ice. Farther away he got from the Icy Water, and closer he got to the Bottle. Soon the bottle was in reaching distance, and grabbed the Bottle. Now was the perfect time to get out of the River. He swam in the direction of the Trail now, near the muddy edges of the River. He got himself up in time, and fell to the ground.. Exhausted.
“Now that’s what I call a pain in the ass. Whatever is inside this damn Bottle better be good! I practically sacrificed myself. If I hadn’t gotten out before the Waterfall.. This wouldn’t have ended happily..”
“Talking to yourself much?” said a very cute voice, coming from the bushes behind Winters back.
“What? Uhh.. Who are you?!” said Winter as he stood up and turned to the bushes, hiding the Bottle.
“You like to talk to yourself a lot. Is it because you are lonely?” said the voice.
“Uhh.. No. No, I am not lonely. A-are you? And w-why are you following me!?” Winter said as he started to search for where this voice could be coming from.
“No I am not lonely.. Not anymore.. But I should introduce myself, shouldn’t I? Or should I say, we..”
As soon as the voice stopped talking, three hooded figures
stepped out of the bushes. Winter now facing the three, started to run in the opposite direction. The three figures disappeared from behind him, and appeared again in front of him.
“What do you want! This stupid Bottle? Just take it already!” yelled Winter as he tossed the Bottle at one of the figures. That Figure raised its hand, which produced a small orb of Light, as the Bottle was headed straight for it.
“We don’t need the Bottle,” said a high-pitched boys voice, as the Bottle hit the orb of Light and crumbled into a lot of small pieces. Glass scattered across the grass and dirt, sparkling in the moonlight.
“Then.. What do you need?” said Winter as he stood there dumbfounded.
“We need Winter, The Master of Ice and Snow,” said the Voice. The three hooded figures nabbed Winter, and quietly ran into the thick Forest of Elo. Leaving no evidence, that this event ever occurred.
The moon slowly slipped behind the mountains, revealing more and more stars in the midnight blue sky. The air lay still, peacefully..

..Until morning arose.
