I like how your characterization is in this story. I think it's "true to life" the way they're acting. I also liked how you had her blow up at him - that she WASN'T her mother. She just let all her emotions fly in one fell swoop.
Can't wait to see how you write out the "aftermath" of her anger and her confession...
