i passed this poem in for english, and got an a :)
why is it
that you smile
only as you fill others
with doubt in themselves?
that stupid surefire smirk,
like a thirst
to dry them out.
why is it
that you’re positive
only because you think
your bitterness
will be forever victorious?
shake that look from your face.
they may buy into it,
but I’m done.
