  I loved the movie discussion, particularly Harry's comment about the villian in "Die Hard". Bruce Willis as a Knight Errant sounds fitting for his best roles, IMHO. It would be interesting, but not necessarily germane to the story, to see all three sets of conditions; as 'tis, just what's been agreed to should make life "fascinating" for all involved. I suspect Albus is going to find both SIrius and Remus becoming more and more proactive in Harry's favor and that should make for some interesting times. I'm sure Albus was more than a bit disconcerted to find out that whoever relieved Harry of that horcrux was able to do so in a fairly expeditious and safe manner; that bespeaks rather more knowledge, and perhaps power, than Dumbles has and should make him stop and think carefully. It likely won't, but it should.

  Interesting set of visuals you bring into play here. The movies all do seem to have the values of the "Knight Errant" in them once you think about it. Since I can only remember four of the titles right off the top of my head, would you say that "The Shootist" and/or "Enter the Dragon" might be two of the other films that could be on the list? I ask mainly because both seem to have main characters with similar qualities as the ones in the movies that were listed.

  SpringRaine -- no Druids were used in the making of this fan fic (at least through chapter 9). I've already used them too many times.
  
  While Clint Eastwood and Bruce Willis don't really play knight errant as such, but that would be the closest cultural reference Dumbles would have.
  
  Cateagle -- re: the scar horcrux -- I think Dumbles would have tried researching the scar himself, never etrusting to outside advice.

  Yipee Ki Ay Mother Fucker! Harry should become what I am, easy going and will mostly avoid a fight but if you fuck with me enough or even fuck at all with my family or fuck with my stuff what evers handy will be bent around your fucking head! be it bat, chair, tree limb, fist or a fucking gun!
