H'mm, the main plot seems to dead end if Harry's not interested. Still, there might be some twists ahead!Author's response
Oh its not a dead end. Harry's just realized that he's got all the time in the world to crack this nut. He's just putting it on the back burner for now until he's prepared to handle it properly.

Nice part and looks like Harry has decided to try and make a good go of it in the here and now huh? Should be fun to see what happens after he finishes school amd maybe enters Starfleet, and how he might eventually get into his own time. Wonder if that ward that's there is holding Riddle in place?Author's response
I'm glad that you like it. Harry's going to be haivng an interesting time in the future chapters. keep reading as he will find out what has happened to the magical world in the next few chapters. What I have planned I honestly don't think anyone has tried before. If someone has, I really don't remember seeing it. A for that ward...I cant say anything as of yet.

I like it. Harry seems to be eager to make a life and not dwell too much on the past. This is one of the better stories where harry seems to have 'normal' powers and just fucked over in some way. I like the flow, am eager to see what happens with him and the magical world and hope that this becomes a many-chapter story.Author's response
I'm glad that you like it. In most cases I'm not one for "superpowers" Harry though they are fun to read. THe Magical world is still around but the twist I've given it, I honestly dont think that anyone has used. If they have, I rally dont remember reading it.
Anyway Keep reading and reviewing.

To keep something or somethings in sounds like a viable reason though I would have left a few wizards maybe Unspeakabkes back to keep an eye on things.
Sill Harry hasn't felt any magic even in the US.
I'll assume that he'll find out the rest of the Wizarding world took a shot at colonizing their own planet which given their fear of normals I can see happening.
Still wished he wasn't alone but Kim seems like a good ACC.

Well, Harry has been able to use magic in the US in his attempt to keep up on what he knows and to try and attract wizards and witches attention. It's just that he hasn't been successful in making contact for a pretty good reason. This will be revealed in a few chapters.
I encourage you to keep reading and if a chapter seems like its boring or slow, that's mainly because that particular chapter is either a bridge to the rest of the story or a setup for an event that's going to happen later on.

Giant containment ward, huh? My guess is that Moldie is stuck there by a ward that Dumbledore created as a last resort, possibly with the assistance of Hogwarts and maybe a few others. The repellent ward was added to ensure that future wizards don't go looking for Riddle and free him.
I think it's cool that he has a girlfriend, but given this type of story, sadly, it won't last.
Hope to see more soon!Author's response
Shhhh! Your the first one to figure it out. And your pretty much dead on target with your guess. Now lets see if you can figure out what happened to the Wizarding world. All I'm willing to say at this point in time is that I don't think anyone has tried this idea I have. If they have I haven't seen read it.
And yeah your right about the girlfriend as well.

I like the way Harry's not hanging back, wishing for "what used to be" but is forging ahead. -wicked chuckle- Steve obviously never learned that appearances can be deceiving, he's as blunt and direct as a young adult Klingon and suffered his as much (though I suspect he'd bristle at the comparison). It should be rather interesting to see just what's being hidden behind that ward scheme; I'm not sure if it's a prison or just an escape for purebloods who can't take what happened to their world. Meanwhile, I do wish Harry the joy of a girlfriend while he has her, I rather suspect events will separate them, likely permanently, whether by violence or simply "growing apart" as they mature and move into further stages of life. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Could it be that the feeling from Harry and some of Dudley's descendants be that there is something trying to push out those how have magic in them (and this include squibs)?
I must tell you that I had this idea WAY before Peter! ;-p Seriously! I wrote the previous sentence just after Harry learnt that others had the same feeling!
Hey! Could it be that the wards are made by pure-bloods, repulsing any magical able human not keyed in it, and as such, not pure-blood, because they are born out of the magical enclave? (any child born in the enclave could be keyed to the ward at birth...)
Or they transformed Hogwarts into a prison for Voldy, put the dementors there, and put the wards here to prevent magical users to free him...
The more time passes, the more questions there are!
About Harry last remark, how could he come back to his time, now that he have Kim? (And... I wonder if Kim will have felt the need to get back out of England, too...)
Author's response
Well, Your dead on as to what the wards are doing, but not necessarily correct in regards to what might be in there. I plan on beginning explanations pretty soon, but be patient, Harry's got to do some stuff first.
