Hey at first I was annoyed at you for changing the first chapter but after rereading it I have to agree that the changes did add to it...also like the way you used each character pov and retold some of the story in the past...Harry Potter and Fawkes' Furture

After DumblDORK would listen to reson, Hogwarts should have sealed the headmaster's office and sucked ALL the AIR out of it with DumblDORK still in it.
Fawkes needs to break his bon with DumblDORK and bond with Harry.

Lily and James have all that time to write long letters but don't bother to actually escape? Obviously the future seen can be changed or they wouldn't be insisting that the Longbottoms be guarded.
Now I can see that, possibly, they could feel it's best for Voldemort to be 'killed' (even if temporarily) but even if so why would they both have to die? Personally I think they would be living under false names in muggle Australia before the day is out after getting the vision.Harry Potter and Fawkes' Furture

Sh*t fire & spit bullets! Now this is what I call a story!!! Firstly it's rich in detail & facts that will help the reader in later chapters. Secondly it's entertaining. Now, I'm an Egyptology freak since 1976, and that Egyptian mention made me very happy. I don't know if it's something you thought up yourself, or something I managed to miss all this time. If you thought it up yourself, then move over Albert Einstein. Then there's the matter of poodles. Now, I own a purebred poodle who's a fine hunting dog. And some famous athlete was on a hunting show quite some years back with one as a retriever. Oops, the Goblin underestimated the mighty poodle. My "Wooky" could get her own food, if she wanted, until her eyes went. Now she follows my cat to her food bowl. Old age is hell. Keep up the good work.
