Well, you've got me a bit uneasy with this '72 pieces' sidenote. Don't spend too much time devising sadistic tortures for the bad guys, okay? Yes, I know Harry has said that the punishers aren't enjoying the pain they're inflicting, but the idea of you sitting at a table counting body parts ...
You had me worried for a moment about Luna! She's pretty silly, isn't she, 'traipsing around the castle just before curfew again', after Harry had warned all of his friends to be extra-careful?
I can well believe that that canon!Dumbledore, he who sat in his office pulling all the threads, could push extra hard to get information out of Hermione.
Seeing the proof of Dumbledore being obliviated was good fun!A Fist Full of Galleons

I. personally, think it's long past rime someone totally obliviated Dumbledork! The man is going to get way too many innocent witches and wizards killed just to TRY saving the ones doing the killing! DON'T EVEN ASK ABOUT THE MUGGLE DEATH TOLL!!! If it saves even one pure-blood life it'll be totally worth it no matter how many innocents die!! That's how Dumbledork thinks.
