I loved the naming of the groups. Where was the Veela Nation or our favorite metamorph.
The explanation was priceless.

BJH -- something like that, yes. Luna, however, thinks Harry has a new magical pet. . . .
bluehorse -- I didn't think snape would believe the aurors could have helped Harry, but you're right, I could have added the VeelaA Fist Full of Galleons

Talk about a review of just about every plot device used in the fan fiction world when the story concerned Harry Potter!
Still now we have to figure out all that too!
I'm liking how Harry is getting closer to Hermione & Luna! Also will a few of his trusted friends be involved? Maybe ones we don't think they would be (Neville, Susan, etc..)
Dang goo yarn Bub!

-snicker- The discussion of "how could've helped Harry" was a hoot and a delight to read. I rather suspect the real answer is going to surprise a lot of folk. Meanwhile, you have some very creative punishments, no killing and reversible, but clearly getting the message across. I wonder how long it'll take Dumbles et al. to realize that playing straight just might be the best way after all; but that'd be logical and wizards and logic don't seem to mix. The discussion Albus had with Hermione is guaranteed to trash her respect for him and his authority and drive her even closer to Harry; he likely couldn't have done more of a favor to Harry. I suspect Tommy-boy is going to find his big impressive act will not turn out near what he was hoping for.A Fist Full of Galleons

Oh, nicely done!
I loved Harry's suggestions as to who might be helping him (as everyone else has already said;-), and I'm glad to see that some of the Slytherins are getting sense. Snape's attitude is refreshing--he seems too much a realist not to see how the powers are shifting and to try to get himself an in with the new force on the scene.
Pansy and Marietta are idiots, but I suppose that's not a great surprise. The creative punishment was a nice touch, especially with it being reversable, or mostly so.
Harry and Hermione's discussion about Dumbledore was nice. I like Harry's obliviation of Dumbles, and am looking forward to seeing his plans for further declawing the MOB.A Fist Full of Galleons

Another nice chapter, I particularly enjoyed Dumbledore being abused a bit. After all he condones it on others, and feels outrage when it is returned on to him. I would think Albus could easily be considered a Dark Idiot if not a dark lord given his methods in this one.
Nice job of using several of the tried and true methods of aiding Harry in the canon verse, most of them were used by you in other stories, and the others are classic genres of fan fiction.
Keep up the good work with this one.
Thanks for writing,

This chapter was the equivalent of a kick in the teeth to the bird club...A Fist Full of Galleons

Actually, I think you could almost consider Albus a Dark "Useful Idiot" in some ways, given how long it took him to decide to even try and restrain Tom Riddle's actions when he knew what was going on years prior to that.A Fist Full of Galleons

lmao at the use of all the plot devices for a power take charge Harry...brilliant! Now if we only knew which one was true. lol Great as always, especially loved the creative but not too descriptive relearning-through-pain lessons for the jr DE.A Fist Full of Galleons

Very very enigmatic Harry. Makes for a fun story, that's for sure. I loved the sequential scenes between Snape and Dumbledore.
The following seemed like a bizarre note you left for yourself in the middle of the chapter:
"*Think little pieces – each hand would be divided into 14 finger parts plus the hand, for example.
*"
Looking forward to more.
