  Yet another "Harry's really meant to be with Hermione and I don't give a damn what the actual author says" story. And you make use of the love potions cliche, too... pathetic really. There are ways to write a decent H/Hr story... too bad you brazenly avoided all of them.

  Every one is entitled to there opinion.
  But I feel you don't full grasp the concept that is fanfiction. In fanfiction we are allowed to envision any outcome based on a series of events. In the case of this story the shipping will be different from canon.
  
  The only reason that love potions are a cliche is that JKR introduced the device in the sixth book and fanfiction authors decided to expand on this.
  Apart from the mention in chapter one I will not be using it again.
  
  JKR has admitted in interviews that it could of gone Harmony but what is written is OBWF.
  
  I feel that The Harry/Ginny was poorly developed in canon, and Harry could of ended up with any witch including Luna and Hermione.

  I like it! Go-backs are one of my favorite genre's and this one is most unusual. It encompasses all the elements of the challenge, but places the onus on an entirely unexpected person.
  
  Rose is, as she indicated, in a difficult position. Her interference will end up in her demise, but place the elements for change in the wizarding world.
  
  I share your disgust for the crapilogue. After all that, after everything that has happened in Harry's lifetime, nothing has changed. Draco Malfoy is still the pureblood bigot he's always been. His parents (and likely all the Deez) have once again managed to buy their freedom, and given that Shacklebolt who is considered by all to be a scrupulous man, is minister either casts some doubt on his ethics, or means that the minister's office is entirely figurehead. and the putrebloods still control the wizarding world. Disgusting!
  
  Rose has a hell of a job ahead of her, both in circumventing Dumbledore's plans to sacrifice Harry for his own ideals, AKA 'the greater good',and Molly's plans for the Potter fortune, and keeping the whole thing quiet.
  
  Your plan makes sense and holds a great deal of promise.

  I had hoped that my twist on the "Go-backs" was unique I am glad that you liked this change.
  
  Unfortunately for Rose, Fate is punishing her for her parents faults and failings.
  
  My biggest problem with the crapilogue is absolutely nothing changed at least the end of a show like Buffy you could see that the events had changed the characters and world they lived in. We learn nothing about what the main characters of Harry Potter do in the years between the penultimate chapter and the epilogue.
  
  In the first few years Fate will help but once Harry begins school at Hogwarts it will become very difficult to circumvent Dumbledore but by then Harry will be much harder to manipulate.
  
  It is nice to receive kind words from an author of your caliber, thanks.
