Nice Cliffy, and you got a few more things out in the open. I see your an old Ian Fleming fan.
Well, My dad worked for him on his books in the early 60's! He said I met him while still in diapers! Still love his original books more than the movies!

Yeah I am. I figure what's a better way to honor his works than by keeping his old cottage going in the 23rd century. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

oh damned, i hate cliffhanger^^
a question, starfleets mission is the search for new life and intelligence. Is harrys knowledge of five or more intelligence races with the earth as the home of Interest? Goblins, Veela, Merpeople, House-Elf, Acromantula, Centaurs and more... i'm not sure on the intelligence of Phoenix^^

I have been waiting several days for this update, I find myself at work, wondering 'what will he do for he next chapter?, I have to know' well, here it is and I now know..but I ask.."what will he do for the next chapter?"
I guess I will have to learn patience and wait.
Thanks for the interesting story.
Author's response
Don't worry about it. I'm currently working on Chapter 16 while 14 and 15 are off at the betas computer. I'll say this though, 16 is where Harry truly begins his fleet experience. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

LOL -- a not unexpected cliffie. I take it Jim is off dealing with V'ger?Author's response
That's correct. You should be able to figure out the timing of this piece of the story because this chapter and the following two have a good chunk that deal with a roughly 48 hour period. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Nicely done! As usual, I could have done without the cliffhanger, but I'll be waiting impatiently to see what happens next!

Heh, a very nicely done chapter and mild-cliffie at the end. I did love the way they gave a proper briefing to Starfleet Command in the person of JIm Kirk. I suspect that personnel may have fun trying to find a way to identify others who share this ability.
I rather figured Jim Kirk rushing off was to do with V'Ger. It should be rather interesting to see what Harry and Hui were doing during this time and what, if any, effect they had on what happened or how what happened may have affected what they are investigating. The Wizard on the Edge of Forever

Daaahhh! Cliffie = ebil! Blast you! I'm going to be pacing and wondering what is going to happen next until your next update now!
I'm guessing, given the place in the story this occurs, that this has nothing to do with Dumbledore. Maybe the deactivated blood ward is going to open up the way to the Potter and Lovegood vaults (plus whatever other goodies Dumbledore thought Harry would need).
A nice bridging chapter. I think that the Admiralty's reaction to this has been pretty levelheaded right now. However, as the possible threat from whatever is left of Voldemort after three hundred years imprisoned is analysed, that may change.
Still worth the reading. :)
