I slowly opened my eyes and looked at my surroundings. I was in my room, i recognized my computer, my pictures, but i don't know why i have three vampires staring at me.I slowly got up and stared right back at the vampires. I was dazed and i don't know why but as soon as somebody started to kick and scream next to me, i was alert and sharp. I looked to see who was kicking and screaming and saw Maddie. I looked back at Mikey, Gerard, and Frank and saw that their eyes were blood red which means they are pissed.
" Maddie stop now," I said. She stopped and looked at me confused. I gave her a look that said " you're pissing them off." She looked at them and looked down. I looked at my arms and saw i wasn't chained and that Torie and Maddie were. I looked at Gerard.
" From past experiences we know that you can control yourself better then they can," he said. I nodded and looked Gerard straight in the eye.
" Why are you here?" I asked.
" We've come for some answers," Frank said. I looked at Frank then back to Gerard.
" Fine you can have your answers as soon as i get mine." Frank, Gerard, and Mikey looked at each other for a long time, like they were having a silent conversation but how? Only royals have mind powers. Then i thought of it but kept it to myself but Maddie figured it out too.
" Oh my God, you guys are royals," Maddie blurted out. They looked at her and Gerard smiled.
" Yes we are," Gerard said. I scowled at Maddie and she looked down again.
" Could we please get on with the questions already," I said and Gerard nodded. " Ok i guess we go first, how long have you guys been vampires?" They looked at each other and burst out laughing.
" We were born vampires," Mikey said after they got control of themselves.
" Now its our turn, how long have you been a vampire slayer?" Gerard asked me.
" Nine years," I replied. Their eyes widen and disbelief was on their faces. I smiled at their disbelief.
" So how did you guys hide your vamp appearances well?" Maddie asked.
" Our parents taught us well," Frank replied. Suddenly there was an explosion and i went flying. I landed on Mikey and we both fell to the floor. Suddenly visions or memories flashed before my eyes but one caught my attention. It was at a house- my old house- and i was looking down at my bloody hands- no Mikey's hands cause this is his memory- and licked the blood from my hands. I looked at the victim that i drained and saw it was a little girl- my baby sister, she was suppose to turn 4 years old the day after her murder. I looked up and saw Bob ripping apart a woman- my mother- with his teeth. He started to chew her flesh and looked at me. He swallowed the flesh and smiled. His teeth were razor sharp and bloody but you can still see some yellow in them. He looked at Gerard- which looks like he's ten years old- then looked back at me. I looked around the room- oh my God, its my old room- and picked up a stuffed animal. Blood tears started to come down my cheeks.
Suddenly Mikey pulled away from me and looked at Gerard.
" She saw, she knows Gerard," Mikey said. Gerard's eyes widened and he looked at me. I didn't pay attention to them cause i was in shock. My best friends and my high school sweetheart killed my family. I wiped away my tears and looked at them. They anger that was hidden for all these years suddenly came out and i had no control over my actions.
" You're a sarte," Torie said to Mikey. Sartes are vampire mind casters, just by contact your memories are theirs and their memories are yours if they let them. Sartes are very rare, one is born every other century.
I opened a drawer and brought out my crossbow. I aimed it at Mikey's heart.
" You helped killed my family!" I shouted at him.
" Please Hailey, we can talk about this," Mikey said.
" No there will be no talking, you killed my family so i'm going to kill you."
