The others slowly stalked out, Gerard giving me a passing glance that reaffirmed what he'd said earlier. My arms were aching and I couldn't help but notice that I was alone with Mikey. Somehow I had a feeling that talking to him right now wouldn't be the best Idea. He walked over and I could smell the sweat and cologne from last night. One thing about vampires, they have an amazing ability to blend in, almost exactly like humans except for the fact of immortality and blood. I tensed my legs ready to dash if I had the chance but then again remembered the others. I couldn't leave them here, no matter what they were my team, my friends, and family. I couldn't just abandon them so as Mikey’s arms slowly snaked around my neck, releasing the double tie on the chains I just sat there and sighed. He placed some of those plastic-ish handcuffs that you see police use around my wrist and I sighed at how easy it would be to get out if I were on my own. The next thing I noticed was Mikey’s hand wresting on the back of my neck and his eyes boring into mine. I stared, helpless to do anything at the moment, in to the depths of sadness and confusion. Then it was cut short as my vision was cut off and I let out a slight growl. Mikey helped me up, and walked me to the door. I could hear other chains being moved and feet shuffling against the cement. Mikey’s hands were warm against my back and wrists as he gently guided me and I recognized the auras of Maddie and Torie. I sighed in relief that Aj wasn’t there and earned a slap in the back of my heels from someone. My temper flared and I knew that as easily as it would be to just let my temper out on who had done it I couldn’t put the girls in danger yet, we’d have to be outside.
The pressure above our head started to decrease and I knew that they’d kept us underground. A slight wet and cold morning breeze stirred my hair as rain pounded on the ground around us; So much for using my powers. Maddie sighed in relief and I knew she’d felt the fresh air on her skin. Then we were shoved into separate cars with new guards and somewhere in between that I passed out.
