Axl Rose and the art of the epic fail relationship

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone agrees with me about Chinese Democracy! I couldn't love that album any more than I already do. Upon the first listen, I was blown away, but it wasn't until Street of Dreams that I actually felt it all and really cried. After not hearing much of anything from Axl in such a long time, to finally hear him, and get an idea of what was in his head.....He's a true artist, and hands down one of the all-time best in rock. I admire and thank you so much for this review.Axl Rose and the art of the epic fail relationship

I do so agree with you. Ch.Dem is one of the best albums i've heard in a LOOOOOONG time. you can really see that red line through all of, connecting each song. It's perfect. Contraband, which is the best slash has done since Illusions, just doesn't get close. That's boring. Ch. Dem is a piece of art. Every time you listen to it, you find a new layer and something you didn't hear before. And the lyrics are f* mindblowing. DO you mind if I posted your review at my live journal? - credited to you, of course.Author's response

Thanks for writing this!
First time I heard the album I didn't like it that much. But the second time I did, when I had more time and concentrated on listening, I was totally hooked.
It may not br the original GnR but none the less it IS GnR. It dark and it's hard rock music, paired with Axl's voice and lyrics it makes a great record.
It's good music and I have to say that I am actually pretty fed up with all the bad critics, because it's good music...
