Touché. Old habits die hard.
Damn, I feel for Layla! Even though she is a fictional character.
Very emotional.
Loved it.

Thank you. This is my first emotional story, I'm still getting warmed up.
Layla's relapse is causing her to feel pain, and she's not that into recovery to know how to feel better.
Old habits do die hard, and it's such a long road for addicts to recover....
Thank you, I appreicate that.

Hi there,
I really don't understand why this doesn't get more reviews.
This chapter was so touching we got to see how at the beginning everything was okay, better than okay and slowly we watched Daniel's demise. The things that drove him to his drinking and abuse.
I feel so bad for Layla for having to relive not only the memories but also the pain. It was so sad that the only way she knew how to relieve the pain was going back to old habits.
Yes old habits do die hard.
I agree with the above. Very emotional.
Looking forward to more of this when you get a chance. I know you rotate your stories and I so look forward to Saturday mornings.

Thank you Moonshyne, I don't know why, maybe too much for some readers..who knows (:
Layla did have everything at first. She was happy and so was Daniel. Then his father died, and it just messed with his head. Layla unfortunately had to suffer for it.
Her pain is coming back, and now you know how it started. I'm basing this off her feelings. I would assume she would go back to her habits when she remembered everything. Recovery is not in her reach, but one person can change that. But it might not be Frank....
Thank you again. Yeah, I try to give each story a chapter, or when I have writer's block so I alternate, I just find it easier (:

You know what I love most about your writing? You can be so childish in your one-shots (like the skittles one) and then you can be really serious, like in this one. It's just so amazing. I miss being able to balance perfectly on that ledge, between serious writing and childish writing.
I really don't know where I'm getting at with this, but whatever. I really hope you write more, because I updated my fic just for you(and a few other people).

Thanks a heaps Amy, I appreciate that (: I'm pretty diverse with stories, usually on what kind of mood I'm in, the skittles oneshots mostly make me happy when I'm sad, and Fully Alive just had to be written after listening to the song by Flyleaf. I'm sure you'll get it back, you're writing possesses the same skills, so don't doubt your work (:
Thanks again.
Much love,
xoxo
