You write a great story. I really like the concept of Tom not really being evil, just another victim of an evil Dumb. Tom being Harry's mentor is great.
My only complaint is that, if you are going where this last chapter seems to indicate, there should be a slash warning in the blurb. I don't care what secondary character's sexual preferences are, but when the primary character is involved, it warrants a warning. Readers associate themselves into the main character, and slash is a very rude surprise when you aren't expecting it. (On the other hand, I read one that was NL/GW and HP/DM, and since it was told from Neville's POV, it was fine.)
That said, however, you have done a great job of the AU rewrite, especially the fact that Harry has known for years, but has kept quiet about it, so canon is still valid.
Oh, yeah, and I like your choice of name for Harry's sister, /Huntresss/. Mary Sue much, Artemis? (Mary Sue's aren't bad; JKR admitted that Hermione is hers.)Return of the Black Rose
