I walked up behind him and hugged his waist. I stood on my tip toes and whispered in his ear “I love you.” in the hope it’d make him smile he just turned round kissed me on the lips and returned the ’I love you’ at that moment I new there was something wrong. I frowned as he left me standing on my own, “are you ok gee? You seem down or bothered by something.” I asked in a soft gentle tone
He turned to me and took my face in his hands, “this is something I need to contemplate myself, I’m sorry love” he passionately kissed me “that’s to make up for my half-heartedness” I looked at him confused he went on “I love you like no other. My heart is yours forever and always, it could never be someone else’s.” my thoughts were stopped dead in their tracks to play that over and over again in my head. he took his hands from my face and turned away.
I went to my room and sat on my bed, I wasn’t sure why but I felt like I had just been rejected, but my gee wouldn't do that, would he? he wouldn’t hurt me like that, well I hope not. I discarded that thought immediately and wiped away the tears that were threatening to fall. I got up with my heart set on finding out what was bothering him I would NOT give up. I was going to find out even if it killed me!
so help me god i was going to know!
