Cyrinda's POV
The cop left and all I wanted to do was go to sleep but Joe wanted to talk to me.
"Sorry about what I said earlier. I didn't know what to say." He apologized
"Yeah ok." I tiredly mumbled and walked towards the bedroom.
"Are you mad?" He asked. I stopped and turned around.
"No, I'm tired that's all"
"Oh."
"Yeah, I'm gonna go to sleep."
"Do you want me to sleep on the couch?" He asked in a low voice.
I sighed, "If you want." Then I began walking back towards our bedroom. He walked after me. I walked to the side of the bed and took off my sweat pants and climbed in bed. He was staring at me, which was beginning to make me uncomfortable and a little annoyed.
"What?" I asked in annoyance.
"Nothing." He shook his head and took off his sweater and shoes. He walked to the side of the bed and took off his pants. He joined me under the sheets. I rolled over and kissed him on the cheek. He pulled me closer and put his arm around me, "You'll never be out of my sight ever again." I put my head on his neck and lightly kissed his neck. I felt completely safe being in his arms. I'm just glad I told him about my horrible past. I can't wait to marry him...
Sorry the chapter was short. The next chapter won't be so long. However it will have a lot of drama.. so beware lol
