"We, the jury, Anthony Joseph Perry not guilty." She paused and continued "We, the jury, find Jared Elliot guilty of attempted murder, rape, and vandalism. You are herby sentenced to 17 years in prison." She banged on the gravel and announced "Court is now dismissed!"
The cops grabbed Jared. He yelled and began struggling "ISN'T THAT A LITTLE TOO HARSH?!"
"Do you want me to sentence you to 25 years in prison?" The judge angrily asked.
He stayed quiet.
"That's what I thought!"
Joe got his handcuffs removed and he walked towards Cyrinda first. He had a big smile on his face. She cried when she felt him hug her.
"I missed you!" He gave her a kiss.
"I missed you too!" She gave him a kiss.
Everybody walked towards Joe and said "Congratulations!"
He was so happy he wasn't going to spend another night in jail, but he was going to miss James and Mike. He let go of Cyrinda and held her hands.
"I-" He was soon interrupted by his sister
"Hey Joe, Congratulations!" She hugged him.
"Thanks!" He smiled "Where's mom?"
"Right behind you!" She said. Joe turned around and hugged his mom.
"I'm so glad you're out!"
"I'm glad I don't have to stay in jail anymore!" He stepped back "I need to go pick up my clothes."
Joe walked to one of the guards and asked them if he could get his stuff back. Steven and the rest of the band members went outside to smoke and Anne talked on one of the pay phones. Cyrinda stood there, waiting for Joe, when Joe's mom began talking to her.
"If I hear Joe has been arrested because of you one more time, You are going to get it!" She glared evilly at her
"This was his-"
"I don't care!"
"Why do you hate me? What did I ever do to you?"
"You took him away from me. You are always with him, he never calls or visits because of you... you're just a whore!" She walked away. Cyrinda shook her head and glared at her. Then she felt someone's hands on her shoulder.
"Hey babe." Joe kissed her neck.
"Oh hey hon. Ready to go?"
"Yeah I am but I'm going to change first. Where are the guys?" He looked around and asked.
"They went outside."
"Oh alright. I'm gonna go change" He began walking to the bathroom "Are you gonna wait for me?"
She smiled and nodded her head.
