Joe walked beside Steven in the mall. They were both buying gifts.
"Lets go here!" Steven walked into a jewlery store. They looked at a few displays when something caught Joe's attention. It was a necklace that cost over a thousand dollars. He remembered that was the necklace Cyrinda had been admiring for a few months.
"Nice necklace huh?" A voice said from behind of him.
He turned around "Yeah it is."
"My name is Sally. Are you interested on buying this necklace?"
"Yes I am."
"May I ask who it's for?"
"The necklace is for my fiancee"
"Aw!" She cooed and asked "Would you like to purchase it now?"
"Yeah sure!"
"Meet me at the cash register and I will be right there."
Joe nodded his head. Steven walked towards Joe and asked him if he already found what he wanted.
"Yeah did you?"
"Yeah I found my mom a pair of earrings she will like."
"Don't you have a girlfriend?"
"No!"
Joe sighed and stood in front of the register. Joe payed for a the necklace and got asked if he wanted to buy the warrantly.
"How much?"
"For a month, it's 40 dollars. 2 months is 50 dollars. 3 months costs 60 dollars. For a year it's 70 dollars. Two years is 80 dollars. 3 years costs 90 dollars and Life time costs 100 dollars."
"I'm going to buy the lifetime warranty. You never know!" He laughed.
"That's true!" Sally laughed. Joe handed her a hundred dollar bill.
"Okay, so I need you to sign this."
"Why?"
"So when you come here to get the necklace repaired, we'll know that the certificate is not a phony."
Joe signed it and took the necklace.
"Have a nice day!" He said and smiled.
"You too!" Sally smiled back.
"Are you done?" Joe asked Steven. "Yeah I've been waiting for you to finish."
"Oh well lets get out of here so I can go pick up my car." Joe began walking away.
"It took them that long to fix it?" Steven walked beside him.
"They couldn't find some parts and ordered some new parts. It took weeks for the shipments to come in."
"Oh."
"Yeah" He answered back and began thinking about the necklace and how happy Cyrinda was going to be.
