"We should get there before they close the open house." Joe said as he put on his boots.
"Okay, lets go!"
They rushed out the door and go into their car. They found a house that seemed perfect for them. Today was an open house and they wanted to see how it looked inside.
"I hope they haven't sold the house." Joe said while driving.
"Me too!"
They stopped in front of the house. The 'For Sale' sign was still up. They sighed in relief and got out of the car. There was another couple looking at the house. Joe walked around the house with Cyrinda at his side.
"Hi my name is Peggy. Are you guys interested in buying the house?" A woman in a suit, asked.
"Yeah" Joe said
"Are you positive? We've had offers, but they backed out at the last minute!"
"Yeah we're positive!" Cyrinda said "We're tired of living in apartments."
"Okay if that other couple is not interested in buying, then the house is yours... Once you make a deal."
"Wait how much is it?" Joe asked.
"545 a month."
"Not bad." Joe said. They watched Peggy walk towards the couple.
They heard '545 a month' come out of Peggy's mouth. They must've asked the same question. They watched the couple leave. Peggy walked back to them "Okay they backed out, so do we have a deal?"
"Of course!" Joe said.
"Ok all I need is for you two to sign some papers and the house will be yours!"
"Do we sign here?" Joe asked.
"No, we have to go back to my office." She gave Joe a card "Go to that address and I will meet you there."
Joe and Cyrinda left the house and drove out of the driveway.
"Nice house huh?" He asked while drove to the location that was on the card.
"Yeah it is. It's a two story house with a basement, I like that!"
"Me too!" He looked at the card and back at the road "Her office isn't that far."
"Where is it?"
"By the mall." He stopped "We're here!"
"That was fast!"
"Yeah it was."
They saw Peggy pull in beside her. Joe and Cyrinda got out of the car the same time Peggy did.
"Are we ready to sign some papers?" She said in an enthusiastic voice.
"Yeah."
"Okay well come in and sit down on the chairs in front of my desk and I will be there in a second." She pointed to a desk that was on the other side of the room. They sat down and patiently waited.
"We need to get all our stuff from our old apartment." Joe sighed "Our day today is going to be very busy!"
Cyrinda sighed. Peggy came by with papers to sign. She also had more information about the house.
Blah blah, can we just sign and get the hell out of here?/'] Cyrinda thought to herself.
She spaced out listening to Peggy talk until she heard the word "Sign."
[/Thank god She sat up straight.
Time flew by when they were at her office.
"Okay the house is officially yours" Peggy stuck out her hand for them to shake it. Joe and Cyrinda shook it and smiled.
"Thank you for letting us buy the house." Joe smiled.
"You're welcome." Peggy smiled back "You two have a great day!"
"You too" Cyrinda said and walked beside Joe as they left the office.
"Okay lets go get our stuff." Joe said turning on his car "Actually you know what? I'm gonna drive to the place where you can rent U-Hauls."
"What are you gonna do?"
"Rent a U-Haul, drive it to my friends house and pick him up. After I do, we're going drive to our old apartment and get our stuff. Then I'm gonna drive to the house and unload the furniture. M"
"Oh okay" She nodded her head.
