  Poor Rayne! But good old Gabe, I wonder who it was that was chasing her?
  
  I love flashbacks that give insight into characters. Even though we'd still care what happened, it's easier to feel more involved with them if you know some of their history.

  I do agree with you on the whole insight thing =) And it was just some rogue vampire that strayed into Gabe's territory, no one of importance lol. Thanks for the review!

  This was very insightful to Rayne's history. I am curious as to who was chasing her too. But in the long run it may not really matter since they were killed by Gabe.
  But I do have a question, if Gabe wasn't the one to drain her, do the not have the same Master/servant relationship that the others have? I mean, she doesn't know Gabe is still alive. Can she not feel him?

  Said it yourself lady, doesn't really matter lol He was actually just some rogue vampire who wandered into Gabe's territory, no one of importance.
  
  And yes, that's it actually. That's why they don't have the bond. She could try to mentally contact him, but she trusts Travis and them enough not to doubt their words.
