  That was fascinating! A really great flashback scene. I love things that fill out the characters more, it makes a story much more rounded and this one's got lots going for it already!! :D

  I've done everything but get better at this point. I'm keeping my roommate awake with my coughing some nights. Man, I even tried the Netti Pot and nothing... I flushed my nose, do you know how weird that felt? lol

  You and I have that in common, loving a good explanatory flash back scene. The ones that actually do answer lingering questions, rather than leaving more, are my favorite. I don't like having to sit there and scratch my head going "what?", you know?

  Sorry you've been sick. I'm just starting to get over bronchitis a sinus infection and a double ear infection. So I know how you feel. Get better soon.
  
  Great chapter. Like Sas says, it's so interesting to find our more about the characters. Small things make them seem more real, fuller.

  Thanks for the care lady =) And I'm sorry you were so sick but at least you're getting over it. Wednesday you would have believed I was dying. My coworker kept making me sit down cos he was worried I looked like I was about to fall out. I tried calling management and not one of them would come in for me. I never call out, or try to leave in the middle of the work night, and they wouldn't come in. then they had the nerve to try to call me in later that day to do a second shift for someone. I was ready to kick some arse.
  
  Anyway, lol, I like it when the characters don't seem flat or fake to me, it makes it easier to imagine the story better =) Glad you're liking the story lady Rayne =)

  Here here but the problem is that my insurance, which takes 60 out of my paycheck a month, keeps saying it doesn't cover me even though it does, so I can't get anything for cheap... No copays... bastards.
  
  sometimes 90 when I get my check 3 times a month... blood suckers...
