"Hey Holly. Ready to go?" Frank asked when I opened the door. He wore jeans, a pair of beat up Vans and a hoodie. His hair was the same as it had been the night before and he had applied a bit of eyeliner. “Yeah, just let me get my coat and purse.” I said. “Have fun!” Tori whispered from her hiding spot as I grabbed my coat from the hook behind the door. “Yeah whatever. Like I said I don't like him.” I replied and Tori only winked. “Was that Tori?” Frank asked pointing behind us as we went down the walk. “Yeah, she didn't want you to see her. She's makeup free right now and in her pajamas and pigtails. She got out of bed and came over because she thought that I needed help getting ready.” I smiled. Frank shrugged, “It's not like I’ve never seen a someone with their makeup and hair not done. I mean I'm on a bus with Gerard for months at a time and that's scary let me tell you.” he said and myself I laughed. Frank opened the car door for me like a gentleman before jogging around to the driver side and getting in. “So where are we going?” I asked. He smiled, “Wait and see.”

Frank pulled onto the freeway as the two of us sat looking ahead, the only sound was the radio playing 'Ruby Soho' by Rancid. Finally Frank decided to break the silence, “So...do you still go to school? Tori said that you both were eighteen?” Frank asked. “Yeah, her birthday is September 21st and mine is October 30th.” I said. “Really my birthday's October 31st!” Frank said. “Yeah I know. That's why you have a jack-o-lantern tattooed on your back. When you're friends with a MCR mega fan you tend to pick up a few trivial facts that in the right situation can be a little creepy.” I said when Frank shot me an odd look. “So Tori's a fan of mine?” Frank asked. “Not really actually. She's a Toro girl, she just knows random facts about all of you. Like how Mikey and Gerard are distant cousins of the Fear Factor guy and how Bob used to be the sound guy for The Used.” I replied and Frank laughed. “What?” I asked. “Nothing.” he said and we grew silent again.

Eventually Frank pulled onto a road that seemed familiar but I didn't know where we were going until we got there. It was a building called 'Jimmy's Jersey Diner', I’d been here a bunch of times as a kid. “Okay, this place isn't exactly a five start restaurant or anything but my folks used to come here with me when I was a kid and they have the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. I thought that you'd like to go here. You didn't seem like the kind of girl that was impressed by fancy dinners or anything like that.” He said. “Your right I'm not.” I said my mind flashing back to my childhood.

“Holly are you okay?” Frank asked as he finished devouring his hot fudge sundae. I nodded, “I was just thinking. I used to come here as a kid too. My dad would take me here every Thursday. The last time I was here I was 11.” I said. “Why'd you stop coming?” Frank asked. “My dad died.” I said. “Oh, I’m sorry I shouldn't have asked.” he said. “No, it's okay.” I said. “Let's get out of here. Come on.” Frank said. “We don't have to leave.” I said. “No it's okay, really.” he replied and we left.

We got in the car and drove to a park. It was getting dark and all the kids had left leaving the playground deserted. I walked over and sat down on one of the swings, the metal of the chains cold in my hands. Frank walked over and took the swing to my left. “I haven't been on a swing in a long time.” He said. “Me either.” I said and it was quiet between us for a few moments. “A car accident.” I said suddenly. “Huh?” Frank asked obviously confused. “That's how my dad died. He was driving home and he got hit by a drunk driver. Now it's just my mom and I.” I said. “I'm sorry.” Frank said. I shrugged, “It was a long time ago.” I said. Without a word Frank began to pump his legs and I joined in. The swings creaked in time with one another as we soared higher and higher

We swung for what seemed like and hour when Frank suddenly jumped from the swing and landed on his feet a short distance away. “C'mon Holly! It's your turn!” He called. “Are you crazy? I'm in a skirt!” I yelled back. “What? Are you too scared?” he taunted. “Fine but no 'I see London, I see France' cracks!” I yelled back and let go. I soared through the air but I didn't come to a rest on my feet like Frank had. Instead I landed on my ass in the dirt which hurt almost as much as my palms. “Are you okay?” Frank asked running to my side. “No!” I said. “Aww...where does it hurt?” Frank asked and I showed him my hands. He took my hands into his and kissed each palm. “Better?” He asked and I nodded. He smiled and brushed a strand of hair out of my face then leaned in and kissed me. His lips were soft and he was a good kisser. He pressed his tongue against my lips and I allowed him entrance. Our tongues swirled around each other and I forgot all about busting my ass. Then my phone rang breaking the magic of the moment. I pulled away and smiled, “One minuet. Hello?” I asked sharply. “How's goin'?” Tori asked. “It was going very well until you called!” I snapped. “Oooh sorry!” Tori said and hung up. “Tori.” I said. Frank smiled, “I'd better get you home, it's getting late.” he said and I reluctantly stood and began to walk with him to the car.

We had almost made it to the car when I started not being able to breath. At first I thought that I was out of breath from Frank and me’s five second lip lock but now it was getting worse. “Are you alright?” Frank asked. I shook my head, “I-can't-breath.” I gasped. “Why? What's going on?” He asked his voice rising with alarm. “You-nuts-eat?” I managed as I collapsed onto a bench. “There were some in my sundae! Are you allergic?” He asked and I nodded. “Oh god! I'm calling 911.” he said and pulled out his phone. I grabbed his arm, “Purse-pen-breath.” I gasped. “You have and Epipen in your purse?” he asked and I nodded, I felt like Lassie. Frank returned a few moments later, my purse in hand. He pulled it out of my purse, “In the thigh?” he asked and I nodded. I was officially without air now and couldn't talk. Frank pushed my skirt up roughly and jabbed the pen into my leg. Once he was sure the pen had been used to it's full extent he called 911. Slowly my throat opened up and I could breath again. “Thanks.” I gasped. “Shh...just rest.” he said and held me. Eventually the ambulance arrived and I was loaded into the back, Frank never letting go of my hand. “Some date huh?” he said. “Yeah. You took my breath away.” I said with a smile but he didn't laugh. “I'm so sorry about that. If I had known I never would have kissed you.” he said seriously. “It's fine! I didn't tell you now smile.” I said and he did. “ However you did take my breath away and that was before I kissed you.” he said. I smiled. “We should do this again. Except without a trip to the emergency room.” I replied. “You bet.” said and we sped off toward the hospital.
