My new phone vibrated violently in my backpocket but I didn't bother to answer it. I knew it was Frank. He'd called a 40 times a day ever since the day Tori had told him to stay away from me. I wanted with every fiber of my being to answer it, to talk to him, to hear his voice, to be in his arms again. I shook myself out of it if he'd really loved me he wouldn't have cheated on me. The vibrating stopped and I sighed, the last thing I wanted was to get caught by the teacher. Tori caught my eye and smiled at me encorgaingly. I returned it with a weak and hallow smile, the only kind I could manage as of late. I just couldn't shake my post-Frank slump. Finally the bell rang signiling the end of the day. I got up and shuffled over to Tori who was packing away the last of her things. She was finished a moment later and we headed out to her car.

"Holly it's been two weeks. I know that it hurts but you need to at least talk." Tori said as we drove toward home. "I do talk." I said. "Yes you do. However it's pulling teeth." she replied. "What do you want me to say?!?" I snapped. Tori sighed, "I don't know Holls. I just miss the old you. Before you became a heartbreak zombie." she said. "Well if you met the man that you wanted to spend your life with and then he went off to another state and cheated on you with some blond fake tit whore how would you act?" I asked. "Look I have an idea. If you want to get back at Frank why don't you go out with someone else? Someone that he's sure to see you with." Tori said. "Oh, yeah that's going to happen. Who do I know that he knows besides Gerard, Mikey, Ray, Bob and Brian?" I asked. "Well, you don't know someone but Ray might." Tori said. "Yeah, like Ray's going to go against a guy that he's known for god knows how long for a girl he's known for four months." I said. "First off, eight years." Tori said. "What?" I asked. "He's known Frank for eight years. The band was founded on September 11th 2001 when Gerard saw the towers fall and relized he wanted to do something more for his life." Tori replied with a smile. "Dork." I muttered and she smiled bigger. "Anyhow, yes he believes Frank but he'll still find you someone." Tori said. "Fine but no losers." I said. "Deal." Tori replied and turned back to the road.

I shook my foot under the table, a nervous habit that i'd had since I was little. "Holly, you're going sprain your ankle if you keep doing that." Tori said. "Yeah well you're not the one on the blind date. I mean, who did Ray get?" I asked. It had been over a week since Tori had asked Ray to find me someone and now I was sitting here waiting for an unknown stranger because my friend refused to tell me. "You'll find out soon enough because here they come." she said with a sly smile and I turned around and saw Ray coming toward us in a tight black t-shirt and black jeans and behind him was Trace Cyrus. My jaw dropped, Tori had set me up with Trace Cyrus? Tori stood to greet Ray with a hug and a peck on the cheek then turned to me, "Holly Williams this is Trace Cyrus. Trace this Holly." Tori said. "Hi." I said and shook his hand. Ray took a seat by Tori and Trace took the one by me. "So Holly, what do you like to do?" Trace asked. "Uh...I like to listen to music, read, that kind of stuff." I said. "Really? What kind of music do you listen to?" he asked. "Lots. System of A Down, HIM, Slipknot, Rancid, stuff like that." I replied. He nodded and I looked down at the purple jeans i'd borrowed from Tori's closet this morning, this was a bad idea. There was no way that Trace and I would ever be able to click the right way.

Eventually it ended and we walked out to our cars. "So this was...nice." I said. Trace nodded, "It was. A little awkward maybe but we could try again." he said. I opened my mouth to tell him that I didn't think that we would work out and it wasn't worth trying but at that moment Frank walked up. I grabbed Trace by his t-shirt and crashed my lips into his. I put my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers into the back of his hair. I felt him slip his tounge into my mouth and pull me closer. We pulled apart a few minuets later both of us breathless, "Oh Frank! Hi!" I said, acting like I hadn't seen him before the kiss. "This is Trace. Trace this is Frank." I said. "Nice to meet you." Trace said and extened a hand out to Frank who took it with a nod. "Well we'd better get going. I'll call you later Tori. Later Holls, Trace." Ray said turning to Frank. Frank looked at me one last time and I could see a glimmer of hurt in his eyes. I wanted to reach out to him, to tell him that the kiss ment nothing but then I thought of the girl he'd kissed and how that kiss had ment something. Once he was gone I burst into tears and ran toward Tori's car not bothering to say good-bye to Trace or anything. I sunk into the front seat and sobbed something horrible. Each sob tore my chest apart and I thought that I'd never be able to breathe.

By the time that Tori had climbed into the car I had managed to compose myself from sobbing to silent tears. "Does Trace hate me now?" I asked. "No. I explained about Frank and that you're still getting over it." She replied. "And now he thinks I'm a nut case and feels sorry for me." I said bitterly. "He doesn't think your a nut case. Trace said that he understands and if you ever need to talk to call him." Tori said and handed me a napkin with a phone number written on it. I smiled and tucked it into the pocket of my jean jacket. "I wasn't ready for it Tor. I was not ready to see Frank agian." I said. "I know sweetie, I should've never pushed you to do this." Tori replied. I nodded and looked out the window as it started to rain. "So...how good a kisser is Trace?" Tori asked. I sighed, "He's no Frank but DAMN!" I said and we both laughed
