Hope

This poem reminds me of the hippies, LOL. This is actually a surprisingly happy poem for me. I wrote this a LONG time ago.

Hope

Hope
A word that makes a difference,
A single shred to hang on,
A refuge from the outside world,
A faithful companion

Faith
A word that never leaves you,
A gentle, yet strong bond,
A promise to always be there,
A single word, so strong

Love
A word with so many meanings,
A friendship never broken,
A passion so deep the ocean bottom could not compare,
A future so bright, the stars could not out-shine it

Peace
A word that changes thoughts and actions,
A surrender to our inner thoughts,
A feeling of indifference to calm the soul and mind,
A virtue, no longer overlooked

A/N: Ehhh…not one of my favorites, but one of my very first. Go on and read the others. In my opinion, my later ones are much better. Even though they are significantly more depressing.
