The Bittersweet Tast of Bloody Desire

Intoxicating river red,
The plastic smiles that wished me dead,
They obscure my blurring vision,
As I make a bitter incision

The ivory-white, whisper skin,
Kissed by the blade and drowned in sin,
I fill the absence, I bury the numb,
Waiting for the ghost of feeling to come

I almost wish for a knock on the door,
But no one dares come as I sink to the floor,
I want to explain why I'm so seduced by the knife,
Why I'm letting this desire control my life

But it's never that easy, it's never so plain,
To tell you the only thing I can feel is pain,
It's real, and it's there, and I can feel it everywhere,
Unlike my other feelings, it's something I can bere
