When I had woken up I was surprised by two things; the first thing was that I was in a hospital, and secondly Light Yagami was sitting next to me, sleep in a chair. I stared at him for a moment not sure of what to make of this situation, then i saw him crack open an eye and then the other. "Oh hey your awake Solar," he said to me sitting up properly. I stared at Light keeping my Doll face, "You were hurt pretty badly, they said that your arm was pulled out of its sockit, and the bullet was in the same arm!" Light said and I looked down at my injured arm seeing it in a sling.
"Why are you here?" I asked Light and he shrugged, "Well i heard what happened from my dad and when i heard it was you i came on behalf of the students in our class." He said giving a charming smile. I bet the students of our class wished that I would have died, they probably sent Light because no one could stand the akwardness i had to me. "They all hope you'll get better," Light continued and I sighed sitting up more scratching the back of my head.
That's when it occured to me, the death note. I looked up at Light, "where are my things?" I asked and he looked around himself of a second, "Here is a backpack we found by you," He said and i grabbed it. Before I was put on drugs I made sure to put the Death Note in my bag and lock it.
I opened the backpack looking for the notebook and I sucessfully found it. I released a sigh greatfully that no one had taken it. "What are you looking at?" Light asked and leaned over a little, I closed my backpack locking it. "Nothing just making sure all my things were still there," I said and I leaned back into the hospital bed.
"My dad is talking with the doctor, they can't seem to find your name on any of there emergency cards or your infurance." Light said and I sighed. "That's to be expected I don't come to the hospital to much because I have no insurance," I said looking at Light.
This was going to get bad I would probably be discharged from the hospital and I won't be about to work with this damned sling on. Also I would have to explain what had happened to my arm. "Solar what exactly happened to you?" He asked and I looked up at him, questions already great. "I don't know," I said and he tilted his head and he knew I was lying. "It's alright to tell me," he said and I smiled slightly. "How can I believe that?" I asked and he was about to speak when his father walked in.
He was the man that had saved me from the gun shots. "Hello my son says your name is Solar Tredman correct?" He asked and I nodded, "Well your going to be discharged from the hospial unless we get a hold of your insurance card, do you know where it is?" He asked. "No I don't have insurance," I said and he sighed but nodded and opened the door and told the doctor. "Well the doctor said he would give you free pain killers but thats it you'll have to pay for the refills and it only goes up to three. Do you understand that?" he asked and I nodded looking down at my arm, it was numb and it felt kind of good for it to not be in pain.
"Well then would you like me to drive you home?" Yagami asked and I shook my head, it would probably be better if I just walked. "Are you sure, is someone going to pick you up?" Yagami asked and I shook my head. "It's fine i'll just walk home," I said and i gave a fake reasurring smile. "Well If you don't mind Light can you make sure she gets home safely?" Yagami asked Light. I grew tense, this wasn't looking to good, if my dad saw me with Light...
"Sure I don't mind," Light said looking at me smiling. I smiled back but really I was filled with fear.
Author note: I know it was short and kind of crappy but I had to wrote this quick so i wouldn't have to re-write it and I've been pretty busy soooooo there yeah all go.
