Chapter Six- To my readers and my reviewers. My heart is with you all! Your comments make me smile and it is a great feeling to read them! xoxo Also I would love to hear your ideas on what might happen in this story. What do you guys think of Liza and Eva?

There was a time where Eva could feel embarrassed and never show red on her face. She was sure this was one of those moments where she was going so red in the face she could explode. Liza bit her lip. Eva just stood there like an absolute idiot.

“Eva, nice to see you again,” said Mr. Way sarcasm and hurt in his voice. It wasn’t the reaction she was expecting and he just stood there glaring into her face trying to make her cry, but Eva had another thing coming.

“Oh piss off,” said Eva and she stormed out of the art room.

As she began to walk and walk to God knows where, Eva suddenly realised what had happened. Who was she becoming? It was always like Eva to be subversive to a teacher and never speak nasty to one, but she had just told a teacher who happened to be Gerard Way to piss off. She had never felt this streak before. She felt anxious and as if a whale had landed on her heart and squashed it.

“Stupid Liza,” she thought. Eva’s mind went on all sorts of tangents. She even went as far as to say Gerard and Liza had something going on which made her want to cry. Wasn’t he married? Eva considered ways to get out of the situation, even going as far as to go to the councillor and pretend she got possessed by some ex rock star with anger issues. Rather, Eva decided to go to her last class early.

Ancient History passed slowly, each second playing a toll on her heart. She was worried someone would pull her out of class, but rather the home bell rang without any interruptions. She walked quickly to the bus bay hoping not to bump into any teacher, but as she waited she saw Liza and Mr. Way laughing and walking towards the car park together. Liza waved goodbye and then headed into the bus bay where she eventually spotted Eva and ran up to her.
“What the fuck!?” Liza demanded.

“What?” said Eva. She was so angry at Liza even though she knew it was out of character of herself to feel this way and that Liza had done nothing wrong.

“That was so out of character of you!” said Liza repeating Eva’s thoughts out loud.

“I don’t care!” said Eva frowning. There was a silence then Eva said. “How fucking embarrassing.” Silence for a few more moments and then both of them started laughing hysterically.

“Did he say anything when I left?” asked Eva crazily. Liza shrugged.

“He just shook his head and we talked about what we were talking about before,” she said normally. Eva didn’t believe her because Liza was a bit of a liar.

“What were you talking about? You’re love for one another?” said Eva a bit bitterly. Liza shut up a bit more.

“Actually, we were talking about Art- things you wouldn’t know about,” said Liza through gritted teeth. Eva just raised her eyebrows which prompted Liza to walk away.
Gerard on the other hand had watched the whole thing from afar. He didn’t know what the girls were saying but he concluded that the girls were now in an argument. He drove off.

Eva was in a bad mood when she got home but by the next morning she had felt so guilty about the events she knew what she had to do.
She purposely caught an earlier bus so she didn’t have to see Liza because Eva didn’t want to let her guard down. When she got off the bus she hugged her coat tightly because the air was freezing and she walked with her wavy dark hair blowing backwards. People who would have seen her would think to themselves how much of a glamour she looked like, but to Eva she felt ugly inside and out. Eva could always account for herself and say at least she was a nice person if she wasn’t pretty, but she had even failed at being nice yesterday. She pulled a large chocolate box out of her bag and headed straight for the social science staffroom. She knocked and entered. Gerard was at his desk and another teacher was in the staffroom.

“Hello Eva, Can I help you?” said the other teacher. Gerard quickly turned to face her. His face was livid yet curious.

“I was wondering if I could speak to Mr. Way?” she said nervously. Gerard got up from his chair and ushered her outside. He closed the door behind them and tightened his jacket to adjust to the temperature. They faced each other and Eva had to readjust her head from the ground to face him. His eyes were so stony and they stared into Eva as if trying to hypnotise her.
She mustered up her confidence.

“Mr Way,” she began. “I don’t know how to begin this as I don’t usually have to apologise to people about serious issues, but I would like to say how sorry I am about how I acted yesterday. I hate apologies because I feel as if people don’t mean them sometimes, or they seem to cliché, but I want to let you know that I do mean it and that I brought you this to say sorry.” She was all over the place and awkward and she was holding out her hand to givehim some chocolate.

That awkward silence and waiting felt like hours.

Strangely enough Gerard smirked. He took the chocolate awkwardly and said: “You apologise a lot in every day speech you realise, but it’s obvious you don’t know how to apologise very well. Most people just say sorry and go. I didn’t expect chocolate.” Eva blushed.

“I just thought chocolate made people more likely to forgive you,” she said honestly.

“Look Eva, I know what happened yesterday was... terrible , but I’m willing to start fresh. I’m sorry I made you so mad,” he said.

“Mr. Way, normal people don’t get mad at what I ranted about. You have no reason to apologise,” said Eva.

Eva felt terrible about the whole situation and there was still that awkwardness between them, but the conversation was coming to an end.

“Well, thanks Eva,” he said. “I’ll see you first period.”

Eva nodded and walked away scrunching her face up when he wasn’t looking. She saw Liza walking in her direction obviously going to talk to Mr. Way. They simply looked at each other and walked in opposite directions.

As she was walking down the stairs she felt her phone vibrate. There was a message from Liza.
“I’m sorry.” It read.
“Me too” was Eva’s reply back.Although Eva was yet to forgive her in her heart.
