FRANKS POV

i walked out to the front trying to process everything the doctor had just said, i paced up and down trying to calm my anger but i couldnt "FUCK" i yelled kicking a trash can off the curb "frank calm down man" i turned and i saw gerard coming out "how can i be calm when elly is in there fighting, fuck gerard i felt helpless when i found her lying there, if i had just gotten there earlier she would be fine and i could have killed whoever was trying to hurt her, if she doesnt make it im gonna feel like shit, i cant lose her" i cried sitting on the curb "frank we all feel helpless sitting out here while shes in there okay, dont you think i want to go out there and find that person to, trust me when this is over and elly is at home with us, that person is gonna pay for laying on hand on her, right now we just have to be strong for her"i looked up at him and i sighed "gerard i kissed her the night we went to the club"
"what, but we were inside the whole night" i shook my head wiping my eyes "no we were out in the balcony, gee she just started talking to me again, and it felt like we getting back to how we were, but i know that when i kissed her she felt something for me again i know she did because she kissed me back i felt her love rekindle thru that kiss for me"
"frank i know she still loves you, i saw it her eyes the day she watched us play, she needs you to be strong for her right now, i know you are the one she needs the most" he replied i sat up and i gave him a hug "thanks man" he nodded smiling and we walked back inside to the waiting room "have you heard anything" i asked mikey as i sat next to him he shook his head and didnt say a word to me,
we were sitting in that waiting room forever when finally a doctor came in and we all got up "how is she" mikey whispered.

"your sister's operation went fine, we repaired all the damage,were keeping her sedated and inubated to conserve her energy and decrease physical and emotional stress, unfortunenatley she went into shock from massive blood loss, she slipped into a coma"

i felt my whole world shatter when he said coma my legs started feeling shakey and i sat down covering my face as the tears flowed.

"is she gonna wake up, i mean is she gonna stay like that" mikey yelled.
"mr. way we dont know, all we can do now is keep her confortable and just monitor her progress"

"thats all you can do, thats all you can tell us fuck" trace yelled

"can we see her" i replied looking up at the doctor

"yes of course you can follow me" i sat up and i followed everybody, they took us to the ICU, "we only allow two at a time in the room with her" "the doctor replied

"i looked thru the window of her room and i saw her lying there motionless and i just broke down, sitting on the floor.

"mikes, why dont you and trace go ahead and go first" gerard replied sitting next to me on the floor, they went in and i wiped my eyes leaning my head against the wall "i cant look at her like gee i cant"

"frank none of us want to see her like this, but you have to go in there okay, she needs to hear your voice i think you are the one she needs right now" i looked up at him when he said that and shook my head "no the one she needs is in there already, her fiance is in there"
"no the one she needs is out here, debating with me about going in to see her" he replied. "im gonna try for her man" i whispered. looking up and saw trace walk out and sit across from us.

"what happened" gerard replied getting up "nothing just giving you and your brother some privacy go ahead and go in" gerard looked down at me and i nodded. i looked over at trace and he grabbed the chair and walked over to were i was and set it next to me and sat down "im so glad you were there to help her i dont know what i would have done if no one would have been there on time" he whispered
"i dont know eaither but your here for her now, i'm glad she has someone she loves again take care of her trace give her everything that i apparently couldn't" i replied getting up and i walked out to the patio to have a smoke.


MIKEY'S POV

we walked in and i looked down at her, she looked so pale trace walked around towards her and he leaned down kissing her forehead softly "i love you" he whispered leaning back up and he walked to the side and grabbed a chair setting it by the bed "go ahead ill get gerard you two should have privacy" he replied wiping his face "thanks man" he nodded and he walked out. i looked down at elly and she had all these tubes and ivs everywhere. i reched down taking her hand in mine "please wake up elles please" i whispered feeling the tears stream down my face, gerard came in and he grabbing the other chair and setting it across from me. "gerard what are we gonna do, look at her fuck why didnt i check on her before we left"

"mikey were gonna take care of her just like we always have, shes gonna wake up you'll see, i promise you" i nodded looking down at her "elles if you can hear me, please wake up, me and gerard are here i'm sorry we werent there for you, dont let go you have to hold on"

"ya elles, please baby sister we spent so long not talking because of stupid decisions i made, i dont want to lose you again not like this, elles your a fighter i know you can make it thru this, i know you can, your stronger than me thats how i know your gonna wake up." gerard broke down crying laying his head on her side "i promise you were gonna make whoever did this to you pay" i whispered wiping my face. i looked down at her and she had bruises on her face and on her neck. i saw blood on her gown coming from the wound on her chest. "gee she must of been so scared look at her, look at what he did to her, he fuckin touched my sister, im gonna fuckin kill him"

"who mikey huh who" gerard yelled " you know exactly who im talking about" i glared at him "ya well you dont think i want to kill that fucker to i know it was bert and guess what i am gonna kill him, thing is were gonna do everything right with the cops after that its fair game on his ass" he replied. i nodded looking down at elly. we heard a knock on the door and i turned to a nurse walk in "mr.way some police officers are here to take your statements"

"thankyou" she nodded and i leaned down kissing elly's forehead "love you sis"
"love you" gerard whispered kissing her hand. and we walked out and trace got up "go ahead and go in were gonna go and talk to the police officers" i looked around and i didnt see frank anywhere "where did frank go"
"he took off outside i think"
"alright man go ahead" he nodded walking in.

"you want me to get him" i shook my head "nah go ahead ill get him il meet you in the lobby"
"alright man" i walked out the back door and there he was smoking a cigg, "hey the cops are here we need to talk to them" he turned to look at me and he looked like he had just had a breakdown out here "frank are you.."
"no im not, just stop asking me already" he yelled throwing the cigg and walking back in past me "lets just get this over with" he replied as we walked into the lobby where we saw gerard and the officers

we talked to the officers and told him about all the threats bert had made and the things that happened between all of us. Frank told them what he had seen and how he had found her. they made a report and they said they were gonna track bert down for questioning and contact us when his statement was taken. we went back to the Icu and we sat outside. i looked over at frank and he was just starring at the ground.

"frank i know your not okay, but you need to calm down were all pissed, we know you finding her the way you did wasnt easy"

"it wasnt easy, i cant get that image out of my head, i just want her to wake up, i dont care if she doesnt love me, i just want her to wake up and be fine" he whispered still looking at the ground "i would give anything to trade places with her if god would just take back this day and keep it from happening to her" he looked up at us crying i got up walking towards him and hugging him tightly as he cried.
